well i being running et streets on my 1980 camaro drag car for along time and they hook very well with the ladder bars. i am about to buy the m/t drag radial for my trans am, i never tried them but i seen alot of people at the track using them and they suppose to hook almost as good as the et street hope that helps

i think what helped the bfg dr's hook so good for me was due to the fact that my rear end is only lowered 1". so that kinda made the whole truck lean towards the rear end and subsequently helping in the weight transfer when i took off. they look funny as hell on a normal stance truck. people were pointing and laughing their asses off the first few passes i made until i beat the **** out of everyone i ran. but i thought they did an outstanding job for me.

I plan on making a few passes Friday with my 20s on and then start dropping weight from the truck and swapping to the 26" tall M/Ts. If they don't laugh at me I will be disappointed. It is going to look goofy as a road lizard. I have a couple of LT1 buddies that better watch out if I can get this thing to hook on the smaller wheels. They are running 14.1-14.2. I may be knocking on the door.

why do you say that? Sway? The tech guys at MT say that they don't sway because they have a sidewall stiffener? They also say that these tires are appropriate for the street. Are people really finding sway an issue w/ MT DR's? Why else are they not streetable?

How much did they sway? What size rear and front tires were you running on that pass?

They didn't sway a ton, but I did notice alittle on one or two passes. I'm running the 26x10.50x16 on a stock tahoe wheel on the back and a 255/50/R17 on the front.

I started out at about 15lbs and eventually went down to 13lbs at the end of the night. I didn't have a noticeable bulge in the tire, and they seem to hook alot better with around 13lbs.
