Which Lowering Leaf Springs to Get?

Flipping the axle is a 6in drop. Add 2in drop leafs, you're at 8in drop.

The top of the axle is likely to rub the bottom of the bed.

I was saying if I install 2” lift leaf springs and flip my axle that would net me a 4” drop in theory

you don't need lift springs, you can buy 1.5" lift shackles for around $40 so that with a flip kit will get you a 4.5" rear drop "or" if your handy you can shorten your stock shackles

i have a 06 CC Silverado.
my spring hangers face upward.
my frame perches are factory welded.

your not getting it....

nothing to do with the front spring hanger, you install a flip kit for a 6" drop then swap out your stock REAR shackles for the 1.5" lift shackles once all done you will have a 4.5" rear drop
