Howmuch does a lowering kit weight? and wil the kit for the 2wd fit the 4wd on the rcsb 08 sierra?

 

It shouldn't weight more then what your taking off of the truck. The rear will work, but not sure bout the front, unless it is only springs..

i think it would depend how low you go on whether or not the kit would work.. i dont think you can go 4/7 on a 4wd truck because of the axles. the spindles i believe are the same for 2wd and 4wd but dont quote me on that. as far as weight.. when i got my stuff i think it was in the 90lb range but like what was said its going to be damn close to what it is stock because everything replaces an item on the truck. i would say within 10lbs one way or the other from stock

 

My kit was shocks, coil springs, leaf springs,driveshaft bracket,and lowering shackles when I had my 04 lowered. This crap was heavy.The front coils were a little heavier than stock, and the rear leafs were almost as heavy as stock. The lowered stuff was a little thicker than the stock stuff.

 

So It would be in the 90 to 100lb range and how far can I go with the Lowering kit If i will be installing the 2wd one on the 4wd?
