yes you can just get the shorter bump stomps or just cut a little off the original , I have always go this route because it gives you the most drop without having to do the notch 5 in drop in the back clears enough, you might bottom out if you hit a dip at about 65mph but thats it, take it from me I have always gone this low because there is a differance in how a 2/4 drop looks and a 3/5 and the 3/5 is perfect IMO

 

You will have to remove the snubbers in the rear and only have about 1-1/2" clearance between axle tube and chassie.

 

well the back sits about 1" higher in the rear with out the bumper, I do have 2" lowering shackles allready.

 

Some prefer to have a notch with only a 4" rear drop. For a 5" drop it is not needed, but is highly suggested as you will bang the axle on the frame frequently even with the button bumpstops.

 

what drop are you running on the truck??
