I think it looks much cleaner without the Z71 decal, I only wish that I took mine off sooner.

Lose the z71 badge. The longer it stays on the more of a chance you will have of it showing how faded the paint around it is later when you do decide to pull it off. And be prepared to get **** for lowering a 4x4, i got alot, but its worth it, guys lift 2wd's all the time.

Yeah, thats a good plan man...at least my truck is white and wont be too much of a fade line.

I don't really care too much what most people think about it...I like to ask on these forums cause the opinions here matter...what the average guy with a lift kit and 35's thinks about my truck I couldn't care less. If it had a solid front axle it would be different...But its basically a car anyway. As are the ones those lifted guys have too...but they burn a tonne more fuel and paid a damn fortune to lift them. Plus they handle like ****, you have to do like one guy said " a one arm chin-up off the steering wheel to get in...My wife hates lifted trucks, my kid would have a hard time jumping in there and my mom, who's 65 years old and lives with us has a back problem. I have a car I use as our DD, but I like to take trips in the truck, and like to bring the whole family.

Those should be enough excuses...LOL

Pretty much...I mostly got it for the leather seats and stuff anyway.

But I do like to ask on here for the reason that you guys have likely done it, and you know if its a bad idea. That's the biggest opinions that matter to me.

Yeah I am kind of torn between the 3/5 and the 2/4...I want to go 2/4 first to see if its sitting right...if not I will get those spring relocators and pull the factory lift block.

I also want to run caddy wheels and stock rubber...so I dont want it to rub too much...a little is fine at full lock...however I would prefer none
