Default lowering ?

hey guys i have a stepside 2003 GMC 1500 5.3 2wd, Iam wanting to lower my truck 4/6 the only thing is i have 20x10 boyd coddington smoothie II wheels and iam just wondering if they will stick out from the fender well. does anyone have a picture of some trucks that have a 4/6 drop with 20x10 wheels front and rear? thanks for the help

im not much help on this type of thing but i do know that the more knowledgeable will need you backspacing and tire size

i forgot to put that in there iam not sure what size tires i will be running and i dont know my backspacing on my wheels.

Well then there's absolutely no way for us to answer your question seeing as how Boyd does custom offset rims.

Figure out what backspacing your rims have and what size tire you plan to run and then ask your question.

I am 4-6 with 24x10 and my wheels tuck hard. I have 7.5 inches of bs. You might get by with 7 inches but I think I would be pushing it. The only problem I have with my wheels on my truck is the tires hitting the inner fender on a hard bump. You should have that problem because you can run a smaller tire. I would keep the tire around 28 or 29 and if the bs is 7 inches or better you will be great!!
