ok i put a 2 4 drop front i put spindles but now both front tires are pointing outward,i was all ways told that useing spindles that everything stayed the same and i would not need a front end alliment.

anyone that did a 2 4 drop with spindles did you'll have the same problem

 

You need an alignment for sure, even with a spindle drop!

 

what he said, you would think with spindles it would stay the same, but when I installed mine, they threw everything out of spec...

 

when I did my steering knuckles all that needed to be done was the toe in/out, caster , camber were all fine.

when you put spindals on it changes your alignment all up. only if you change the coil springs is when it doesnt change much.

 

well i was told the other way.

cause when you spindles you just move the point where the tires mounts and with springs you move the upper and lower control arm.and yes all it should need is to set the toe cause the rack is mounted to the frame and i moved the frame down 2" in front. no big deal i can do this under the carport

100% correct, but you should get an alignment ANY time you do suspension work

 

mine only changed toe in out, but as stated above always do an alighnment after suspension work.

 

the geometry shouldnt change but the toe will, i would advise you to trailer the vehicle to the alignment shop because you will ruin your tires on the trip there with the toe out of spec. Or if you dont have access to a trailer you can remove your tire
and break loose the tie rod nut and somewhat fix the toe by adjusting it yourself!
