Just bought a 2004, 2WD, 5.3Liter Tahoe today (YAYYYYYY!!!!!!)
I wondering how I go about lowering/adjusting the front end since I noticed it is a torsion bar setup vs. coil springs (never worked with them before).
Are the spindles on a Tahoe the same as on a Silverado? Reason I ask is that I did the 2" drop spindles on my Silverado, loved the results, and would like to do the same on this vehicle.

Follow the torsion bar to the end and you will see a bolt under it tighten that bolt and the truck ill lower take it for a ride around the block use a measuring tape and measure from the ground to fender on both sides if its the same leave it if not loosing the side that is lower to raise it up to match other side. if it not low enough for you, you must go and buy the torsion lowing keys. the bolts that you tighten are almost right in the middle of your drivers door under truck about 3 feet apart i think it is a 15 or 17 mm for the back if you have air ride you have to get shock extenders and lowering springs. i just bought the ground force kit it come with everything you need. dont forget once you touch those bolts you need an alignment.
