Default Lowered Z71 with a load (pic)

I know some guys, including myself, want the lower than stock 4X4 looks, but still actually haul stuff in their truck beds. Just wanted to share what a fairly mild 850# or so load looks like in my truck. Gas tank was also full.

Truck is a 2002 Z71, with stock keys and 2" lowering spindles in the front, rear blocks removed and 2" lowering shackles.

No bottoming out, no air bags. Could definitely "feel" that it had some weight in it though, as far as braking, turning, accelerating...

I've always like your truck. Simple and clean.

Nice. I would love to come across a good deal on an HD hood. That small change makes a big difference, and mine's rock chipped like a **** anyway. I like the mild drops because the truck still has a nice ride, probably nicer than stock when you add decent shocks. With a bad back, I don't dare go real low.
