Unhappy Lowered Ride Quality

I am still looking to improve the ride quality of my truck, a 2014 RCSB. It currently has a Belltech 3/6 drop using the flip kit in back and I'm running Caltracs.

I've seen discussion on removing the overload spring or the middle spring out of the spring pack to improve the ride. I'd like to retain the overload spring as I intend to haul a lightweight trailer (teardrop). However, in the interest of ride quality, I'd lose which ever one is the best improvement. Which leaf should I remove?

Also, I was thinking of removing the flip kit and just using drop shackle & hangars. The intent would be to increase the length of travel for my rear shocks. I would still like to retain the overall 6" rear drop or as close as possible. Would removing the flip kit and using drop hangars/shackles give me room to run a longer shock?

I am already running Viking double adjustable shocks. Are there any other tweaks I should be looking at to improve ride quality?

Wouldn't the Vikings and caltracs stiffen the rear?

My belltech flip at 7" and belltech street performance shocks/struts ride comfortably. Maybe it rides a little stiffer than stock height.

Still seem to have slight vibration from 25-35 mph whether stock height or lowered which is weird.

Good question. Vikings shouldn't stiffen it up due to the range of adjust-ability. I'm currently running 1C/4R which is pretty soft.

The Caltracs are necessary due to running drag radials. My reading is that if I remove a leaf, the Caltracs become mandatory. I also plan on doing a shock relocation which will require the Calracs too.

I wish I had tried dragging the truck when I had DRs without the Caltracs to see if I experienced any wheel hop.

I don't have DR or locker yet but on 17s or 20s I've not had wheel hop but spin all day. If I had DR I'd be wheel hopping too I imagine.

I'm interested in caltracs and rear hellwig swaybar too.

Maybe the obvious solution would be to take off the Caltracs. That would fix harshness and/or the noisy suspension. I'd at least get peace until next season when I would need them for racing.
