I have McGaughy's lowering keys on the front and their hangers and shackles on the rear for a 3/5 drop. They also make spindles for the front instead of keys if you want to go that way. I am not sure what they make for the 06 but their kit is good. I have had it on for 4 years or so.

At 5" drop my truck would hit the frame on the rear axle on dips and bumps and that got tiring after a while so I added a set of Air Over Leaf bags to the rear from Air Ride Technologies. The bags have a built in 3" stop and they are perfect for ride and handling. I plumbed them to the rear and can fill them if I need to but mostly they ride with no air in them. Almost any air in them will lift the rear so I put in 2-3 psi and leave them.

I have Doetsch Tech shocks all around but did not notice a big difference over the stock shocks and I rode with them and the drop for quite a while.

This set up has worked well for me and I am very happy with it.
