Default Lost a bet need opinions!

Well I lost a bet to my wife which is ok but the wager was new tires for her truck and a new exhaust system. well right now we are running BOSS 301 20X8.5. we are running goodyear LS 275/55/20 which are way to tall and I personally think they make this truck ride and drive like ****. any suggestions on tires for the front and back and what sizes. I don't like a huge gap from the fender to the tire but I can live with some. also should I put on different sizes onthe back then the front? I really like the Hankooks.

Hankook, Nitto, Kumho are all good brands. No more goodyear though

As for size, if you went with 285/50/20 you would only be about 1.x MPH faster at 60MPH vs your current size. I wouldn't go lower then 50 series though with only 20" wheels, IMO.

As for different sizes, if you get a 1" larger width rim, go for it. But as it stands, there is no reason and it wouldn't be as visually stimulating to only go from 275 to 295(max) width.

well this is for the wifes truck and it's a regular cab 5.3 with 3.73's and I want to get some low end back. these 275/55 are killing this truck. I will be going with hankooks on my vho with 285/50/r20 in a few months. also should I run the same size on front and back or a bigger size on the back? sizes pelase.

if you have auto 4wd then yes run same size front and back. otherwise if you turn it on it will constantly engage b/c the front and back will turn at different rates

oh.....and stop betting the wife

that is gonna give it kind of a drastic rake i'd go like 275/55 r20 in front and 295/45 r20 in back and yes you can do that the only thing that you MIGHT see is a little more abs activation on wet pavement

oh and stop accepting bets from your wife lol
