Default Pi 3200

Spoolin, here is a video of a true PI Vig 3200 tc in a similar setup to yours. This is how it should work, in theory at least. BTW Hello to all, very impressive trucks here and I'm just a lurker... hopefully this will help spooling out.

it seems like your starting out in 2nd gear???? your speed and RPMs dont really match for a 4l80e.... unless you have some really tall gears in that thing...

Spoolin' go out and check all your silicone couplers. heck, just tighten them all to be safe. And don't use a screw driver use a wrench.

If they are all good, check all your vacum lines.

I think Cody's right one about why it stalls to 2800 on a power brake and only 2500 on a flash.

If it is a Vig converter, you'll be able to tell from PI's billet front cover. It's pretty unique to them. That should be a dead give away.
I'm pretty sure the Vig was bought for a 700R4 for a Syclone but it fits a 80E or else the tranny guy that installed it woulda said something about it.

Tomorrow I will try and get a log for you Henry, I've never recorded one before on HPT but will give it a shot.

Yeah, I'm working on getting some 4.10's in there but according to my stock tune I have 3.23's back there.

I spoke with a tranny specialists today and after explaining what was going on he thinks the TC could be the problem but is more skeptic of the tune or maybe some vacume lines or improper install.
My FLT originally came with a yank 2600 but thought it was gonna be too tight so in a few weeks if I can't find what it is I'm gonna swap in the yank 2600.
Would I be better off putting in the 2600 or putting in a stocker??

A 2600 will be more better than stock.

I didn't suggest checking your couplers and vac lines because of the tranny I blew off a coupler one night and it turned the truck into a honda... Same deal with a vac line later on.

you know the yank is good as it came from FLT... the unknown variable is the OPEN BOX purchase of your current TC... swap it out... then go from there... you can always put it back in later if it turns out to be another problem.
