Onyx has a great deal on a yank tt3000 if the parts classifieds. if you want one he has a great price. as far as what else you would need i am not the expert on that so i will let a more knowledgeable person chime in.

Selling mine for 450 in the classifieds and it just got refurbished by TCI so its a brand new stall its a 3K which is the most common stall and worked great in my truck.

if you are going with a 3k you need a tranny cooler. But you should do a TransGo shift kit($150), corvette servo($15) and a B&M cooler($50) at the minumum.

Personally I wouldnt put a 3k stall it a stock(motor) truck. you should pick up a TB converter they are only like $200

you could do all that stuff for cheaper than just a 3K stall..

...just my .02

as long as its a converter for the 4l60e than your fine... theres really nothing else you have to do except for a tranny cooler if you dont already have one. As far as installation... unbolt the tranny, slip out the stock tc.. slide in the new one.. bolt the tranny back.

A 3000 would be good for you.. unless you feel like you wanna save a little more gas.. than go with a TB converter (2200-2400 stall).

You need to have it re-tuned for the converter or it will give the computer fits. With a 3000 you NEED a transgo kit, the 1-2 servo, and a cooler.

I would say a Fuddle or Yank 3000 Stall, B&M Tranny Cooler, Trans-Go Shift Kit HD-2, Vette Servo.

I'm having the TB installed next week. Think I'll need Nelson to update the tune?
