Default looking at buying a 2000 GMC 4x4

the trucks got 210,000 KMS on it, and I was wondering what I should look at for wear and tear and any parts that may be ready to explode. Its been used off road alot, so the 4wd has been used about every day, so what should I look at in the drivetrain before I decide to buy it? CV Shafts? Differentials? etc?

I'm also buying a used truck. It's a 2000 Silverado ECSB 2wd with the 5.3 and 84,000 miles. Looks like you pretty much have the general idea. I'd good over everything drivetrain related from front to back. If it passes your look through it's probably not a bad idea to get someone else to look over it or maybe even have a mechanic look over it.

Unless you are getting it super cheap I'd take my time and have everything checked out first. Even more so since you know the truck has been off road alot. For this one truck there's probably 5-10 more just like it out there who have been well taken care of and babied. I know I looked at a bunch of modded trucks and found a whole slew of them who were un-touched, never abused, and well maintained.

this truck wasnt used for flying around through mud holes and stuff, the guy used it to haul a trailer out of the woods full of wood everyday, so it wasnt anything hard core
