Default locker not locking

other than being broken, are there any causes for our lockers not to lock when you want them to?

old fluid, wrong fluid, one wheel gaining momentum too quickly for the other one to lock in???

I would try it on a slippery surface. If it locks with slow wheel spin, it is working properly. I've got 148K on my G80 and it still works well.....as good as can be expected from the stock unit. Mine has lived on Mobil 1 gear lube every 25-40K since new.

that's kinda what i was thinking. if i light'em up going straight THEN turn it'll stay locked, but if i punch it while turning hard and get one wheel spinning really quickly it wont lock.

Cool

You will probably break it if you get it to lock turning them hard in a turn on dry pavement. The force of being locked and one wheel having to go faster than the other will create more force than the G80 can sustain and the case is liable to break. Not so much of a problem on loose or wet surfaces when the outside wheel can slip a little to make up for the longer distance it has to go.
