Question Which Locker - Eaton or Truetrac?

Gonna change out my gears and upgrade to a locker. Have only heard about trutrac, mainly from gmfullsize guys but some have told me I should go with an Eaton instead. What are everybody's thoughts? Are they both good or is one better than the other?

Truetrac,Eaton H.D Posi,Yukon Duragrip are all good units.

Eaton and the Duragrip would be good for the off roader.Truetrac for the street.

I run the Truetrac on my Av.

Just my opinion.

Sold lots, either one 100% better than an open an or a G80.

I have had an Eaton in mine for 5 years with no problems besides 2 bald tires. I have heard many good things about the trutrac as well.

I like the eaton posi but I just bought a true trac, gears off ebay, couldn't beat the price plus I have never heard anything bad about either one, so I say go with what ya can find cheaper. Besides eaton makes both of them anyway, also the tru trac is rebuildable(I think). Also if your looking the name of the comp on ebay is http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7070ron/ great people to deal with, with great prices...

I like my TrueTrac, it is a solid piece, litterally, when I first got it and looked at it I thought it was a solid piece of billet...
