I got a little bit of fixturing done on the upper arm. The aluminum blocks will be getting pinned and bolted down to larger blocks that will fit the bolt pattern of the drilled and tapped fixture table.

the tube adapter will be getting trimmed some. the part to fit in the tube only touches for about an 1/8 inch then the rest is clearanced. no sense in carrying the extra weight when it doesnt touch the tube id and does not have threads in it. this is a 3/4 x 3/4 heim end to be used on the upper. maybe also on the lower. we shall see as the lowers progress.

You realize the reason for the extra length is so you can put a rosette weld for added safety?

I have never done that but it makes total sense. I just wish the adapter wasn't necked down. these things were near impossible to find for 1.5 .095 tubing. Ill rosette them, thanks for your input.

No problem! Rather see you be safe than sorry with suspension and chassis components.

Where did you get them from?

I usually get mine from meziere but that is not a common size.

These are from race craft. Meziere has nice ones but not this size. I actually wanted them in left hand since it really doesn't matter on this application and I have left hand heims to use up but after ordering they called me and said they were out of them with no intention of getting/making more. I found another supplier though after I got these for about $8 a pop vs $13.

Oh cool. It's not an overly common size so I am not surprised they don't want to make them.

I only found 1 place online that sales that specific size in both left and right but you have to request a quote for them. It was called a.e.d. motorsports

I think I may have come across them. The other I found was mckenzies. I'm sure that size tube is over kill but after doing some calcs it's considerably stronger then the thicker wall smaller od arms out there and it weighs less per ft. Going .095 on uppers and .120 on lowers
