#1
ok my truck 2000 gmc 1500 has been lowerd 5/7 front is dropped with 3 inch lower controll arms and 2 inch uper controll arms. the back was droped with a flip kit. the front i was going to go with stock uper controll arms and the back i was wondering how to get it up 2 inches. can i get a shorter shackle? or what can i do? and info or links would be appreciated

For 7" in the back you should have a flip kit and drop shackles set at 1". Get some lifting shackles to replace the drop shackles and you're set. In the front......I've never heard of a drop upper arm; it isn't possible for an upper to provide drop. It's probably a 2" spindle and a 3" LCA, or possibly a 2" spring. In either case; just use the 3" LCA and stock everything else.

The dropped upper arms are longer to help get your alignment slots back to their usable range. I have a set of upper and lower control arms but I had to shorten my upper arms ~1/2" to use them with my 3" drop. I have a 2.5" lower arm and a modified stock spring(
) for 3" in front.
) for 3" in front.
