Default Level 2 Performabuilt 4l60e

just got my Level 2 Performabuilt 4l60e installed, so far im very happy (only took a drive about 15 miles)... i hope this time it will hold longer... shift from 1 to second is firm but was harder with my stock 4l60e, transgo shift kit and corvette servo... u think thats normal?

my 1-2 shift was hard too, i tuned it a little softer, but frank told me if i still don't like it i could swap in the vette servo instead of the billet super servo for a little less harshness, and have no ill effects on reliability or power capability.

your gears shouldnt SLAM. a quick firm shift is all you want. slamming gears is where you start breaking hard parts.

plus one on that bud ,u want a quick soft shift .every time i had a tire chirping shift i broke an input/output or more .use it like it is or youlle break something.hard shift in heavy truck doesnt go good.especially if u have traction ,o youlle even be lucky eniugh too break a rearend also with a hard shift and good traction.as long as its firm and quick ide leave it.good luck

Think thats what happened to to my level 2 it would chirp the tire on every one two shift over half throttle and one day it went pop and has no gears to it.

yeah your line pressure needs to be dropped if your chirping 1/2 throttle
