Default Lets play guess those gears!!!!

I had sergury on my shoulder so I cant do much for the next few months. I was going to pull the pan and look but that will have to wait.

Now, build sheet/window sticker/glove box all say 3.42.

Anyway, here is a pic with the convertor locked up on the highway. Please give me your openion.

Maybe someone else can help I will also need it to be in D not OD so its 1:1 ratio to calculate it for ya.

My '04 with 3.42's runs the same RPM at the same speed.

Mine reads the same at 70. I have 3.73's.

I have the stock 265/70R16's. Two of my buddy's with 3.73's run the same RPM pretty much. Thing is 3.73's arent even an option for mine. That MPG avg was over the entire 2200 mile trip to Texas from Maine. Not to shabby huh. LOL

count the teeth and i can u what gears 3.42 to 3.73 should only be around 250 rpm

The computed MPG is never real accurate on my rig. It always says I get 3-5 mpg better than when I do the actual math at fillups.

Mine has been within .2-.3 so far. My gas light doesnt come on till just over 600 miles on a tank, highway of course. Around town I only get 450 on a tank.
