I was wondering if anyone can help me with a drop question.
I have a 2/4 mccaughys kit
And it used to be level with the 4.3
Well after I put the BBC in it got that silly rake again.
And now that I have changed to a step side bed it has gotten worse.

I have cal trac bars so spring wrap is not an issue.
It had springs wrap issues with the 4.3. That was fun at Gainesville trying to race and the rear tire going bounce bounce bounce.

Anyhow I was trying to find a post that was well written about removing I want to say the center spring.
My truck is a 04 Silverado.

I am debating removing the helper and center spring. Pretty much a mono leaf. I want the truck to transfer weight to the rear.

Any ideas???

 

Remove the load spring flip the rear instal caltrax and adjust rear shackle
