Default Just trying to figure out the....

..ball bearings of this site!
I am very interested in lowering my 06' 4dr pick up, and am curious to know what you all think of certain brands that are avail. as of now I have a CTS 4" lift kit that I will be removing (Obviously) and would like something more driver friendly, closer to the ground, and just a clean river tow vehicle!
I dont want to drag the under carriage across everything in the road, just something that will look nice with a set of 22'' billet whatevers with a decent ride! We rarely use the truck for anything other than river trips and short bursts to home depot anymore!
Thanks in advance
BTW- Pics of lowering sizes would help in a decision of drop size to go with!
Thanks again!

if you don't wanna scrape everywhere, just do a 2/4 kit. McGaughy's is what I have & what a lot of others have. The drop companies are: mcgaughy's, belltech, & djm. I think Norcal TBSS is a sponsor here & he sells belltech & djm. Do you have springs or torsion bar suspension up front? 2wd could be either, 4wd will always be torsion bar. If you have torsion bars, you can just do the drop keys up front & shackles in the rear/remove blocks. I called this the poor man's drop & it is what's in the pics below.

Here's my truck with a 2/4-5ish with 275/55/20s

Your truck looks (and sits) real nice.

Is it 4 wheel drive?
