Default Just got a 2/4 drop on my ECSB

I just got a 2/4 drop on my ECSB. It looks good, but not what I expected. I requested McGaughy spindles and some type of leafspring to lower it. The leafsprings look like a stock spring with a leaf missing, but they added a super long shackle too. That doesn't seem right does it? Also, the front rubs really bad. I included a belltech spring spacer, but they said I couldn't use it with that spindle. Is that true? I called them back, but they bullshitted me about pretty much everything. They told me that I needed a 285/50/20 tire because the 305's that I had were too big. The thing is, I have 285/50/20's and I was told on here that I could get away with that. Can you guys tell me if I can use my belltech coil spacer with mcgaughy spindles?

Sorry to hear that. I did some research prior to ordering my 2/4 kit.
I went with the Belltech spindles due to the McGaughys' spindles having fitment issues. Though I did use McGaughy's rear hangers and shackles. Belltech didn't offer the hangers, just the shackles.
Why didn't you use the hangers and shackles combo over the leaf springs and shackles? You also may want to install the drive-shaft's carrier bearing spacer for added insuerance that your driveline is at the proper angles.

what fitment issues are you talking about with the McGaughy's spindles?

You were told wrong.

I'm using 285/50R 20's with no issues, but I'm a 4x4, so my drop isn't as low as a dropped 2wd. It's probably just slightly lower than a 2wd at stock height. I lowered the front about 2 to 3" with keys, and the rear 4" by removing the 4x4 lift blocks and istalling 2" drop shackles. There's a pic in my sig and more pics on my Cardomain site.

Excessive positive camber could potentially have rubbing issues. You may need to "recountour" your inner fender wells with a hammer- carefully.

I just went outside and got under the truck and found out that they installed Belltech spindles but told me I had mcgaughy's. But still, can I put that spacer in there? They told me no, but all I need is 1/2" to keep it safe. My passenger side is good, but the chevy lean is getting me. Would better shocks cure this? I don't mind a rough ride, as long as it doesn't rub. Is there anything wrong with belltech spindles?
