if its setup right, you wont ever know its there
And a tune can adjust it to where you like it. I cant feel mine shift untill i really get on it. Keep the RPMs under 2k and if your not paying attn, you wont know your in 4th till the converter clutch locks at 47mph.

I know its been mentioned once before in this thread (or maybe another) but what exactly is the difference between using a shift kit vs my tuner upping the pressure in the higher RPM's? And I'm assuming since the shift kit tightens up the shifts, it technically prolongs the life of the clutch packs?

I need to add the 265mm to our website, sorry. It is a diameter I have for the bigger power guys looking for a tighter stall. Our 258mm choice can get a bit loose if the turbos come on quick for a DD truck. The 265mm can be made in single disk or multi, and as mentioned - 10.5" turbine diameter. Just another weapon in our ever growing arsenal....

Theres more to a shift kit than hard shifts..

It allows more fluid flow, for clutch apply and release.
im not good at explaining it, but basically the boost valve allows for more pressure? vs the pcm commanding more?


Just put the HD2 in and ride haha..

all you need is a drill, it has instructions.
And its pretty easy!
just remember to leave one of the check ***** out.

Will that be in the instructions? because I dont even know what the hell a check ball is, where its located, or what it does.

Gracias. Think it would be best to do the Tru cool at the same time or add that later? I won't do any major towing or major track time, would you suggest I not even waste my time on a Tru Cool?
