Default installing Jakes Performance manual control box on 4L80E in my 90' 454ss chevy truck

im installing a 4l80e in my 454ss chevy truck and bought one of the full manual control box kits from Jakes Performance. ive had the trans checked out and had a transgo hd2 kit installed and am ready to install it now behind my big block.

heres my question.... the box has 2 wires coming out of it to be hooked up. 1 pink wire is for a 12volt switched source and the brown wire is to lock up the torque converter when cruising. the instruction paper doesnt tell if im supposed to put 12 volts through a toggle switch to the brown wire or do i put ground through a toogle switch to the lock up through that brown wire to signal the lock up?

any help is much appreciated as ive called them for a week off and on and cant get anyone on the phone

thanks!!

The box needs +12V in order to shift any gears. Put the switch on the ground to lock up the TCC.
