Default Installing Belltech 2/4

I will be installing a Belltech 2/4 kit on my truck this weekend and was just wondering if I should have any additional maintenance parts on hand during the install.

I've read some people replace the ball joints while they are in there. I have about 150k miles on the truck and there is a little slop in the steering wheel, but not too much. Is that related to the ball joint or the way bar endlinks?

Is there anything else I should know before doing this install at home with basic hand tools?

Thanks

this kit has hangers/shackles in the rear, and springs in the front, with 4 nitro drop 2 shocks.

The correct springs are here, anyone wanna offer any input?

I just signed up for this site and ls1tech for my Ls6 swap and both these sites are dead. Not a bump, response, or even a "do a search newb!" nothing. Guess I will find a more active forum.

You should check everything while you have it torn down. Control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel hubs, and sway bar end links. I've broke the sway bar end links on a few trucks I've lowered, so just be careful with those.

I'm no suspension tech, but I always just check ball joints and tie rod ends with a pry bar and see if they have any slack. Don't over think it. Get in there and get it done. Good luck.
