Default installed new shocks now ride is worse

I just installed new front and rear shocks.

Monroe 37149 Sensa-Trac Light Truck Shock Absorber

Monroe 37150 Sensa-Trac Light Truck Shock Absorber

After installing the ride is way bouncy (I know it is a truck but the ride used to be a lots smoother)

It seems like the bed is bouncing not the front so what do you guys suggest for rear shocks that my smoothen the ride.

did you happen to purge the shocks before installing?
I've never actually seen it cause an issue but maybe you were unlucky and the reason they say to do it haha

Have you ever played with one of the shock displays from Monroe? If your shocks were blown out before it may have messed up the ride to the point it was just soft enough to feel "smooth". So what you feel like is bouncing is actually the shocks doing their job. I bet when new it acted a lot like now. I would give it a few days. See how it feels.

I found the Monroe Sensa-Tracs ride good for a few weeks/months, but they don't seem to be correctly valved for truck applications from what I've seen.

I would give them some time, but if it persists, than you can always look into better bump stops to control suspension movement. I have the 2500HD Z71 bumpstops in mine and it made a world of difference to the ride. I was considering new shocks and upgraded sway bar, but didn't really feel the need once I installed the bumpstops.

sensatracs are garbage. When I worked for Oreillys they always came in for warranty pretty fast.
