installed my 4.56's today :-)
#1
So as the title says, I put in my 4.56's going from 3.73. I calculated everything with an android calculator on my phone, and it said it would be about 2500 at 70. Well it is 2600 so I guess it wasn't too far off. I drove it from my dads shop to my house (about 15 min) real easy as I intend on breaking them in properly. About 5 min after I got home I thought, hey why not check the dif temp. Well it is 55 degrees out, and the bottom of the dif was 122. I was actually surprised it was that hot. For a comparison, the exhaust was 132. I will be taking it for a 30 min drive in a bit, and check that temp. I will also continue to measure the temps during the break in cycle to see what is happening back there if anyone is interested.
