Sure, anything that helps you handle these heavy pigs is worthwhile. It just wasn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. I guess results will vary. I suppose between the tires/wheels, the drop, the shocks, and already stiff suspension of a Z71, mine was handling pretty good. If the sway bar was one of the first things done it would have made a bigger difference?

Thanks for the tip guys. This probably gained me another 2" in the rear travel.

Did some driving in stiff winds today. The rear sway did help quite a bit with tracking in a strong crosswind.

No way it would bottom out now I think. Unless its a mammoth lick. I did put the spring clamps back on it today. Thats a low as this puppy is going.

Who knows, results may vary. I'm thinkin a 2wd may see a greater difference but don't know since I don't have a Z71 to compare it to. If I'm in your neck of the woods, we'll see.
Did u do a bigger front sway too? Or is it the stock piece? I'm wondering how much different that would improve handling.
I think mine will handle even better w/ some better tires (not bald).

Agreed, anything that'll help our trucks handle flatter, whether 2wd or 4wd, is a good thing to me. As always, nice job Roger.

I'm glad to see you had room for your T/A cover. I've heard that there is clearance issues with some of the rear bars and the T/A style covers. My Hotchkiss bar fit without any problem as well.

a addco rear sway bar was one of the first things i did to my truck, it still had a camper shell on it and it made a world of difference with it being so top heavy. i am interested in how well an aftermarket front sway bar helps also....anyone?

looks good KY, i have always liked how subtle your trucks is

I just installed the addcco front sway bar and it made a moderate diference, a little flatter going around the corners. Also it helped over bumpy roads where my truck used want to bounce all over the place.. I am still waiting on my addco rear sway bar to b delivered.. BTW the addcco is about 1/4 bigger than the stocker.

Subtle.... the polite way of saying square or old man truck looking.

Need to note that I have the low profile TA cover. It was nowhere near close to interfering with the cover. Came closer to the diff than the cover.

I'll probably do the front with a Hellwig at some point. At minimum do poly bushings.
