Default if you've had a 3/4 and 4/6 drop help me out please

I've got a 4/6 drop, well actually 5/6 right now and love the way it looks but it rides like crap. I've put up with it for about a year now and im thinking about going with a 3/4 drop instead and some taller tires.

Did you guys notice a big difference in how it rides between the two? BTW, i've got DJM drop shocks in the front and doestch tech in back.

What components are you using? My DJM 4/6 (control arms and flip kit) ride similar to stock.

I kept bottoming out in front with my DJM 4-6. Ended up going with the Hotchkiss 2-4 and love it.

I've got the djm flip kit and upper and lower control arms. I think that alot of the ride is because of the 255/35 tires but i don't want to put anything taller on with the current drop.

I have the hotchkis TVS and it rides terrible, I hate it everytime I drive it. I feel as though it bottoms out on every single bump and makes the loudest clunk. Definatly like the look, but miss the stock ride.

Default Drop

I had the 4/7 dop on my truck using Hotchkis springs in the front with MC gaughys spindles and IAS shocks and it bottomed out all the damn time. I took the HOTCHKIS springs out and put the factory ones back in and it handles and rides 100% better. I want a 3' drop but have not figured out how to do it. But I agree anything over 2 so far from my history is a waste if you can not keep the factory springs. All these other springs are toooo damn soft and spongy.

So you got 4 inches of drop from a flip kit? I thought they all gave a 6 inch drop. And the v-6 springs gave you a full 3 inch drop in front?

Am I missing something here???
I have my stock V6 Springs in the front and V8 leafsprings in the rear (if any difference).
So the front springs arent the same from V6 to V8???
