I thought that the door lock operation was programmable on the 03+ trucks?

I didn't say it was cheaper because I don't know if the OP is 2 or 4wd. 2wd is cheap, I believe I will be able to get mine in for under $1400 with a billet converter in it. However, 4wd is much more expensive and difficult.

I just took a ride in his truck 1>2 seems fine now. 2>3 it seems to slip right before it shifts to 3rd. even does under a hard acceleration (1/2-3/4 throttle)

at least the 1-2 is working for him. My 1-2 has become really mush or slipping...guess it happened at the track.

Yea. It should last me until I can get in a better position to have new bands put in. Still gotta figure out why it doesn't recognize me being in Park tho.
It's now locking at 10mph and the gear indicator on the dash just doesn't recognize P or N.

mine never locks untill 15mph. check the black gear indicator on the side of the trans where the plugs go into it.

that's the one i'm talkin about. I did it about 2 or 3 times sunday night. Still doesn't recognize P or N.
Since the day I got mine it has always locked when I put it in gear, and unlocked when I put it in P.
If it is programmable, it seems like something that would be in the BCM, but I'll look over the tune.

Yea a long time ago. I have 130k miles tho so it doesn't apply. But my cluster is just fine. It's the plug. It worked fine until i switched converters. I just put a new PN switch in in Feb. So it's just a bad connection on it some how

Any guesses how I could have burned up the 2/3 bands so quickly? I checked the fluid the day I had problems and it was perfect. Hooked up the laptop when it happened and temp was 160.
i'm stumped
