no. I can't see any reason I should other than diagnostics, since I can't afford to ship it. My bank account still hasn't recovered from the refresh.

I guess this is why they say do a 4l80e swap, it's better in the long run even if it costs more up front. Hopefully, you should be able to find a very cheap 4l60e on craigslist or something and stick that in right now until you can get your built unit back running

Just wanted to mention that there are no bands on a 80E...just an innocent little reminder!

Little update. I was checking over everything just now cuz i'm really hoping i overlooked something.
Which plug on the neutral switch goes to the cluster? the cluster doesn't seem to be showing what gear i'm in and it I have to get moving a bit before the doors lock. They won't unlock when I put it in park unless I key off and on again.

supposed to lock immediately when i put it in gear.

I checked both plugs and they seem to be in, took them off and put them back on twice.

The escape I had before this locked at 5mph but this one has always locked when I put it in gear. I'ma let it cool down and the pull the plugs off again cuz it should unlock when I put it in park. And the gear indicator isn't saying what gear I'm in.

I doubt this is causing my shift problems but still needs fixed.

Actually mine cost me around 600 bucks to go from a slipping 4L60E to a gear grabbing tire smoking 4L80E.

Are you sure its not grazing the rev limiter? Seems like I could hear that all to familiar fuel cut off, fuel back on, then cut again about half a second before the 1-2 shift. Maybe just try lowering the WOT 1-2 shift and see what it does. It does kind of look like a slide bump though.
