If you want to go 3" in the front, I'd recommend 2" drop spindles or lcas then adjust the stock keys down another inch rather than going a full 3" on the keys alone.
You may or may not have a hard time getting the camber back to spec if you go a full 3" because you'll be maxing out the range on the camber plates.
Plus, you'll be able to keep most of the travel and get a smoother ride with the spindles.
I'm currently almost 4/5'ish with spindles in the front. At first I was 3/5 with keys alone and didnt have anymore range left in the camber plates to get back to spec and the ride was a bit more harsh than with the spindles.

the lca's are better on a torsion bar front imo, they are flat across them, instead of having the huge bumpstop riser casted into them like the stock lca's, so you get lowered while keeping the stock bumpstop, which is good because its needed on the torsion bar front. also mcg's spindles and belltech's spindles both lose alot of turn radius. i did the mcgaughy 17"+ spindles on mine and wish i would have done the djm lca's.

http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/show...hlight=006rcsb

its a link to a thread of mine on gmfs that i had a while back about trying to get some turn radius back, if you go Mcgaughys spindles be prepared to hate the lack of turn radius or do this to yours too. pics of clearanced spindle backside on pg3.
