Is this gonna be a big enough external cooler with the added stall.
It's a Flexalite 20 1/2" wide 7 1/2" tall & 3/4" thick.
Thanks for the help...

Well I put the trans and converter in, big difference!
Truck runs alot better.
I'm gonna make an appointment for a dyno tune Monday.
I was gonna have them do a basic tune, and have the torque management removed. Is there anything else you guys can think of that I should have them do?

1996 will be a CSFI Vortec L30 305 truck. It makes 230hp at 4600rpm and 285 lb/ft torque at 2800rpm.
I have a 97 Vortec 350 with a stock longblock. I am running a Vortec l35 4.3 V6 behjind my V8 and can get the tach to read 2700rpm at WOT in 1st gear with the rear tires locked.
IMO I think a 3200 stall would work great on a Vortec 350 305. The intake, injectors and cam are 100% the same between the 305 and 350 Vortecs. Because of this, the 305 will have slightly higher hp and torque peaks than the 350.
For acceleration, I believe every truck can benefit from performance TC's, esp the GEn 3/4 engines.
