Default I hate to ask, but 4l80e flexplate questions.

I hate to ask but I swear I have searched for about two hours. I could have sworn I saw a couple years ago that you could use the stock 5.3 flexplate with a spacer and elongate the converter bolt holes. Am I crazy or what? Do I have to get the flat 6.0/4l80e flexplate with the spacer?

Dont elongate the holes, thats just asking for trouble.

Get the 80e flexplate.
