LOL, yea that's pretty much been my luck with the transmissions since I started swapping **** around. Engine swap went smooth compared to this ...

Haha heck no man I'm not going to give up, truck has been down since first of may so I'm not giving up! After I get this sorted out it should be good to go and when I think back on this I'm sure I'll just laugh it off but it's been a learning experience for sure!

very cliche... but if it was easy everyone would do it. I had a buddy and service manager at a local dealership tell me that when I was dealing with a couple things.

It's frustrating, but it'll be worth it when you're done.

The 80e is worth it, I have about 1000 miles on mine so far and I like its manurisms much better.

He had to modify/drill a bigger hole or something in the pump. Basically what you were saying with the tcc off pressure and the multi disc converter vortex etc. It's all Spanish to me on transmissions!

Transmission is being gone through now and I should have it back Saturday

Mine barely locks-up like your 60 did. I think the TCC solenoid is going out. I should have had it gone through before I installed it. I'm probably going to have to pull mine again.

Glad you got it all figured out.

What was the verdict on this? I am having the same issue.

Feels like the converter locks up in reverse and drive and stalls the motor. I have a circle D 278, not a multi disk or anything.
