Default Hydroboost conversion

I'm putting the Hydroboost from a '98 Suburban into my '96 Sierra halfie. I'm swapping over the PS pump, master cyl, and booster. Do I need to switch out gearboxes also, or will mine work with the setup? I have the whole Suburban, so anything I need I can swap.

Gear box should be fine , but I'm sure you will need the brake pedal from the burb also .

Do you mean the rod? Are they not removable like the older ones?

No you have to change the pedal assembly also as the pivot point is different. To the best of my knowledge anyway.

You can modify the stock pedal, but its worth it to just get the pedal, even if you have to buy new for $35
