ok fellas i have a chance to purchase a 2002 rcsb with 4.8/5pd combo for really low. well since its tax time i think this would be a good truck to build considering ill love to put my cc back to stock height and stock tune/motor. and so on.
anyway i do have a lq4 AND 80e i will be doing work to soon enough and would love to put it in the rcsb but before i look more into getting the rcsb how hard would it be to convert from manual to auto trans. i really dont like shifting being that i part time drive for ups and have to drive a 5spd. and harness/wiring would have to me bought or modded to make this happen. thanks for any help given.

It would be just as easy to put in a whole 80e harness if you can find one. I really don't know on the driveshaft on a 5 speed. My 99 driveshaft went from a 60e to a t-56 and then to an 80e with just a yoke change.
