Anyone want to call this guy for me and ask him about his built trans because I don't know exactly what he is talking about. He never mentioned a shift kit or any of the parts I'm familiar with. He offers a 3yr 36k warranty and wants 1300 for a turn key job. His number is (817) 819-6543

I hate to see people get cheap on the tranny. Aside from your motor its the most important part of the vehicle, why skimp on something so important? And when a tranny is done on the cheap it absolutely will cost you more in the long run which mostly doesn't end up being that much further down the road. Phoenix has a great rep when it comes to the Gm tranny's and they offer a 2-3yr warranty which by itself is worth the extra grand you would have to spend......

I know what your saying and I'm not trying to be "cheap" I'm just shopping around for the best deal.

I'm 19 and a full time college student I DO NOT HAVE 2500$ to spend on a transmission right now, plain and simple.

Anyways, I found another guy that offers everything I want and some with a 3yr 36k warranty for $1500, I'll probably be using this guy.

Thanks everyone for the help

It's always good to know of other local builders. Who are you using?

What does the build sheet consist of?

The shop is called Bill Burrows Precision Transmission and he is in the Burleson/Joshua area. Here is his ad on craigslist. He actually offers a 3yr 40k warranty, not that it matters because I will hit the 3yrs before the 40k.
