How do you ID thr type axle ratio differential on a 2003 Sliverado?

Default How do you ID thr type axle ratio differential on a 2003 Sliverado?

I am looking at a 2003 Silverado reg cab 5.3, but I want to be sure it's a posi and also see what gears it has. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

If its the posi it has rpo code G80 in the glove box... i'm going blank when try to think of the codes for the axles

GH0: 3.54:1
GT4: 3.73:1
GT5: 4.10:1
GTY: Wide Track Rear Axle
GU4: 3.08:1
GU6: 3.42:1
HC4: 4.65:1

thats new to me... is that part of the quadrasteer?

I thought it referred to dual rear wheels.
