Default Hitting rev limiter on the 2-3 shift

Went to the track yesterday and each time the truck went to make the 2-3 shift, it would hit the rev limiter. I dont have any logging software so I dont know how the transmisison settings are set. Just wondering if anyone has had a problem like this and what all has been done to cure it.

Usually you hear this of the 1-2 shift because the motor wraps up too quick for the trans to shift inside the window between the commanded shift point and the rev limiter. The fix is to either bring the shift point down a few hundred rpm or move the rev limiter up to increase the window inbetween them.
