Higher Stall or Not? Need Opinions!
#1
I need some opinions. Maybe someone has already done this. I've got the Yank Truckster 2600 rpm stall currently on my truck. Do y'all think I would see any improvement in track time if I went with the 3000 rpm Truckster? I would like to think I could pick up a tenth or so on the ET in the 1/4. I'm just not sure.

honestly a stock motor will benefit from a 3k stall. anything lower really isnt worht it for performance applications. so for you yes a 3k would work...hell a 3400 would be alot better

native,
have you tested out this new combo with the tt2600 yet?

Haven't tested the new setup yet. I'm waiting for cooler weather. I ran 13.66 @ 96.76 before the cam/head work. 60' was 1.90. It may be the ol' butt dyno is out of calibration, but it feels like I lost a little on the low end. I'm figuring to be in the low 13's with a higher mph than previous, but damn, I want an all motor 12 bad. A higher rpm stall is an option I'm looking at to squeeze a little more out of it.
