Help me pick a tire General Grabber UHP's or Toyo Proxes STII
#31
They do not make them in LT. I rarely tow and do not tow heavy. The tires are rated for 2900-3020 lbs per tire @50psi.
I run the front tires at 48psi and the rear about 40. I'm guessing there is about 4500 lbs across the 2 front tires. Additionally, having a much smaller sidewall adds stability.
I have never had any issues and I know it's not illegal. Not in FL anyways.
Many guys run non-LT tires. I have a set of E load LT's on my stock rims but at my power lvl forget about traction. Spin the tires from a roll. Even if I slow roll first and get on it right b4 second gear. As soon as 2nd hits smoking tires
