its between 4.56 / 4.88 / or 5.13's
im doin my t56 swap in 2 weeks and i plan on doin some gear not to much longer after that.
i was on a gear to speed calculator lookin for the right gear ratio for me .
i am lookin to have my 6th gear about where 4th is on the 4l65e .70 OD
im doin about 67 @ 2000 rpms with the 4l60 and 3.73 gears.
with the extra over drive that the t56 has it gives me options for taller gears as most of you know
4.30's @ 2000 rpm is 81 mph
4.56's @ 2000 rpm is 76 mph
4.88's @ 2000 rpm is 71 mph
5.13's @ 2000 rpm is 67 mph
as i stated above with the .70 OD with the 4l65e
373's at 2000 rpms is 67mph
now as far as crossing the traps. in 4th (1.0 drive)
4.30's @ 6000 is 121 mph
4.56's @ 6000 is 114 mph
4.88's @ 6000 is 107 mph
5.13's @ 6000 is 101 mph
all of this is using the 29.5 tires on here right now i will prolly switch to a 28'' drag which will take off 5-6 mph through out the rpm range
what gears would best suit my needs? im leaning towards the 4.56's but im lookin for other opinions
