If its is purple then yes it "should" be a PI converter, which are top notch converters.

PTC is not Precision. http://www.ptcrace.com/ They are pretty good. I had one in my Impala back in the day...no problems.

They have been around for awhile. A bunch of guys from TCI started their own company to build better converters.

I had a friend that had a PTC in his 2001 Sierra back in the day. They are along the same lines as TCI converters.

Sounds good i think i might take the guy up on the deal. just wonder how it will drive. my friend has a yank 32 in his formula and that is my only experience with a stall. went shopping at my local performance shop today, and they had nothing good to say about yank, Like it's way over priced and not to bring the warranty back to them when it breaks. But I did order some ASP pulleys (just the crank), can’t wait to put it on. Seems like it has been forever since my last mod.
