Default hd shocks

Might have been asked searched with no luck, can I run a 1500 hd shock on my none 1500 4wd truck. Reason for asking my buddy bought a set then lifted his truck soon after now has a new set of kyb's I could use haha. I dont mind that they are stiffer (giggity) if that is the only differance.

I have the HD shocks on my 05 RCSB, it greatly reduced the wheel hop, axle wrap during braking. The shocks are very stiff but they actually made my truck ride very good.
