Just wondering... There's gotta be somebody that's tried these tires. Looks like it would be a good choice.

I had a 275/40/17 MT DR and with the really small sidewall i couldnt get it to hook leaving on nitrous.. So i sold them and got some Hoosier Slicks 28x10-16, alot more sidewall and softer tire. I cant spin them for nothing now.

i see a lot of people running them on the street and very mild street cars at the track. i wouldnt try to run them on a 12 second truck though, get some hoosiers and be done with it

That's kinda what everybody says. I just wanted to stay away from a full slick because that bumps me up to non-electronics class at the track. More money to race and a lot more people running that class= long wait in line. Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet.

Mickey Thompsons are good tires. I have personally seen 1.5 60' , and single digit passes on them. I believe the drag radial world record is on a mickey thompson and something like 7.1 second 1/4 mile pass. So to say there not suitable for a 12 second truck? Its all in the suspension setup....
