ok so the times were very disapointing. it was my first time and all but still. temps were around 89* and the elevation is around 4000ft i think. ran 17.2 spinning bad on street tires and 22's. track was packed and had to wait in line idling forever too which sucked. oh well, it was fun anyway and times will be dropping soon

The main thing is you had fun, I'm sure those times would improve greatly if you were hooking up and not spinning...maybe get a pair of smaller rims and some slicks for going to the track...

I ran my stock 2010 CCSB 3 times and it hit 16.6 consistently, but of course with no tune, etc it never thinks about spinning a tire...I tried to get it weighed, but they had the scale off on that night, I'm sure it weighs a lot because all I have done is add weight with the snug top and bed rug.

3.23s and 22s will definetly kill your times, get rid of those 2 things and you should make a nice improvement.

i picked up .5 tenths with the same converter you have on factory 20in ss wheels and .6 tenths with the converter and switching to a 27in tall tire. great converter. get that thing hooked up and watch the times drop.

yeah thanks for the tips guys. already started ordering supporting parts for my cam swap so that will be the next mod since parts are already on the way. however, as soon as that goes in a different wheel/tire combo and gears will soon follow! thanks for the feedback
