Here's the deal.
My 04 (see sig) has QA1s in the rear. I like em & don't want to run them thru winter. Salt will eat the alum bodies.
So I don't need a $$$ shock. I already have that.

I want to run a good shock for the 4" drop in rear. Needs to be under $85 a shock. Edelbrocks or Belltech. But which Belltech? Don't they have a StreetShock that's kinda new or a similiar name to that? It doesn't need to be adjustable. I just don't want junk ride nor junk shocks!!! I'd prefer US made. I wish Bilstein made a drop shock for GMT800!

I like that I can adjust em inside of a minute. It takes longer to get down on ground than to adjust.
U have a Ext Cab. So, you'll always ride better than RC.

 

Yeah, I just hope the QA1's ride as nice as they look. For the price paid I should be very happy with them.

The BellTech Street Performance shocks are a blessing to my back, driving my truck is like driving a sports car now. The ride improved to the point where I don't have to dodge potholes to maintain stability.

Happy Thanksgiving Guys,I really like the Edelbrock I.A.S.I've had them on for little of over a year now.Very happy with the ride.

 

Dotech Tech (sp?) Is what I have on my wife's Yukon. They are ok but I wished the rear rode a little better. It seems to almost bottom out too soon. Her truck is lower 3 in the rear and I removed the bump stops. I am thinking about having the bumpstop brackets cut off and get some Belltech bump stops and just bolt them onto the frame. I have tried a good number of shocks and unless the Belltechs have gotten a lot better they were anything to get excited about. But they have supposed to have been improved on greatly. I used to run Gabriel Air Jackers on the back of my 1500 that was dropped 4-6 on 24s. They were great as long as they had enough air in them. I also liked the adjustablity and being able to adjust the ride. They are cheap to like 70 for the pair.

 

I had the Belltech Nitro-Actives before swapping to the StreetPerformance shocks and I can tell you they are worlds better. I do have a set of rear Nitro-Actives to sell if you want to give them a try?

The Bellteck bump stops are doing their job too. I did a write up on them a while back if interested.
